RF-DAP version 2026.2

We are proud to announce the release of RF-DAP version 2026.2.

This release brings several enhancements, new features, and bug fixes to improve your experience with our product, below you will find a summary of the new features for Catalogue and Special Core Analysis Simulator (SCAS) modules.

Catalogue 

The brand-new CT-Scan experiment is now available. You can now analyze your CT-Scan data using dedicated 1D and 2D visualizations for saturation maps. We have also included support for time-related CT-Scan uploads, making it easy to track changes over time. Once your analysis is complete, you can seamlessly export the results alongside a comprehensive QA report.

With the new Lab Project module, it is now possible to create and manage your analyses in a completely centralized and efficient way. Through this new feature, you can:

  • Associate Samples: Easily link the specific samples that were — or will be — used for a given type of analysis.
  • Complete Management: Take full control of your workflow. Track the status of each analysis step, assign responsibilities to your team, and monitor all deadlines closely.
  • Automatic Disposal: Optimize the lifecycle of your samples! You can now configure the system to automatically discard samples the moment an analysis is finished.

Users can now upload sample files directly from the Rock and Fluid sample pages through a dedicated button with real-time progress tracking. Reimporting a new sample file will update existing samples and create new ones as needed.

Administrators can now enable automatic generation of catalogue codes for samples, chemicals and equipment through general settings in the Admin panel, eliminating manual code entry.

We’ve simplified how you manage your fluid samples! Previously, HC Fluids were divided across three sub-tabs, while Aqueous Fluids lived in a completely separate section. Now, we have consolidated everything into a single Fluids page. You can add Oil, Aqueous, and Generic samples all in one place. This update allows you to see your entire fluid inventory in a single, unified table, giving you the flexibility to easily apply filters whenever you need to focus on a specific type of fluid.

Rock and Fluid sample tables now allow users to choose which columns are visible. New filtering capabilities include a generic range filter, Storage Location filter for Rock Samples, Top/Base Depth columns with range filtering, and an advanced Extraction Location filter organized by Basin, Field, Operator, and Well.

SCAS

Gas systems are now fully supported in coreflooding, porous plate and centrifuge simulations. This includes gas-specific relative permeability and capillary pressure models, gas boundary conditions, and gas-phase output data.

We’ve revamped the visual schemas for our experiments! Centrifuge, Coreflooding, and Porous Plate now each have their own dedicated diagrams. The schema will automatically change and adapt to accurately reflect the specific fluid system you are using in your setup. This update provides a much clearer, more intuitive, and highly accurate visual representation of your experimental configuration right from the start.

Simulation outputs now include pressures for each phase, providing more complete data for analysis and reporting. Additionally, the graph colors now reflect the specific fluid type (red for oil, green for gas, and blue for water).
