We are proud to announce the release of RF-DAP version 2026.3!
This release brings several enhancements, new features, and bug fixes to improve your experience with our product. Below you will find a summary of the new features for the Catalogue and Special Core Analysis Simulator (SCAS) modules.
RF-DAP now follows the new ESSS Energy brand, with an updated logo, browser tab icon, and login page. The interface also uses a consistent visual language: each status is shown with the same color and shape everywhere in the application.

RF-DAP now offers two overview options. The overview is configured per RF-DAP instance: your organization chooses the one that best fits its needs, and all users of that instance see the same overview. The Laboratory overview is the one you already know, focused on day-to-day lab work: you can follow requisitions, check stock, see pending events, and more. The new Dashboard overview takes a management view, focused on your assets and the analyses performed. It brings together key indicators, analyses in progress and the latest analyses completed, analyses by status, analysis turnaround times, and samples by storage location. A Wells Map shows where your samples come from, and a well filter lets you focus the whole dashboard on a single well.

Knowing which samples you can still use is now much easier. Rock and fluid samples share a single availability status that you can see in a dedicated Available column, change directly from the sample details page, or set with the new Discard Sample action. Unavailable samples are highlighted in red in the master tables and can no longer be linked to new analyses. For rock samples, RF-DAP now tracks the available length and automatically reserves and deducts it when you request a subsample, so your inventory always reflects what is left on the shelf.
Gas samples are now supported in Catalogue. You can register them in the Fluids page alongside oil, aqueous, and generic samples.
Mass import of DAA files is now safer and more transparent. Before applying an import, you see an import plan listing every sample and entity that will be created or updated, field by field, so you can review the changes and then apply or cancel. DAA mass import also accepts .xls files in addition to .xlsx.

Registering samples takes fewer steps. Well and Depth are now available directly in the sample creation modal, and Name is optional. Rock Sample Type (previously Body Shape) is now optional and editable from the details page, and Lab Projects have a new free-text Analytical Program field. Cover images can be uploaded on all sample detail pages.
Sample tables now remember the columns you chose to display, and the Fluid sample list can be exported to Excel. Lab Projects, Storage Locations, and Extraction Locations support sorting and search, and linking samples to a Lab Project is easier with advanced filters and multi-selection.
CT-Scan saturation maps can now be exported in Raw format, and exporting large CT-Scan cases is significantly faster.
In centrifuge analytical methods, a single failing method no longer hides the results of the others, so you always get every result that could be computed.
